Who are you?

We are a small, UK based business. We create original, hand drawn gifts and more, all designed in-house.

Are your designs original?

Yes! Everything is designed by hand, in house. You won’t find our designs anywhere else on the internet! We don’t use clipart, stock imagery, or bought designs, like many other Print on Demand shops. This makes us stand out in the sea of online shops, but also gives us a passion and care behind our designs.

Our designs often go through a research process, such as our Korean foods collection, that uses motifs and colours from minhwa (traditional Korean folk art), as well as handwritten Korean language.

Speaking of which, if you have any designs you would love to see, or any tweaks that you want to any designs you see in our shop, pop us an email at bouchradesign22@gmail.com and we would absolutely love to assist. We want to provide designs that represent YOU, so feel free to submit suggestions or requests through our open door.

Who is the artist?

Bouchra has a BA in Fine Art with a Printmaking specialism, and an MA in Animation. You can follow her on Instagram at @bou_who_animation, or on Facebook.

What is the company ethos?

To provide high quality. original, fun designs at competitive prices. To be inclusive in the design process, creating products mindful of our diverse and rich community. To maintain high ethical standards through working with ethically minded suppliers, sourcing vegan friendly fabrics and inks, and using plastic-free packaging.

What packaging do you use?

Everything is plastic free, using paper-based or cardboard material.

Here are more details from our printing partner/supplier:
Garments will be packed directly into a weatherproof, kraft paper mailing bag.

Mugs will be packed directly into a special smash-proof box.

Bamboo art prints are wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and then put into a reinforced hardback envelope.

Art prints are rolled in acid-free tissue paper and put into a triangular cardboard tube (with no plastic ends).

Phone cases, socks & morfs are packed into a hardback envelope.

Cushions will be wrapped in Kraft paper.

What fabric do you use?

All of our fabrics are either organic cotton, recycled cotton, or recycled polyester, and are  Vegan friendly. Our fabric is supplied by the clothing brand Stanley/Stella, who have PETA certification.

Stanley/Stella are also members of the Fair Wear Foundation, who audit ethical production practices.

How does the manufacturing process work?

Designs are printed on demand and shipped directly to you by our printing partners. Our printing partners are a UK based, family run service, and use vegan friendly inks and plastic-free packaging.

This process not only allows us to provide competitive costs, it also reduces waste, as everything is printed to order. No stock is held anywhere gathering dust, and the printing and shipping process is fulfilled by experienced professionals who take care over their work.

Our printing partner/supplier is highly rated on TrustPilot, and of course carefully chosen by us here at Bouchra Design.

Are your products Vegan friendly?

Yes! As well as using Vegan friendly clothing supplier Stanley/Stella, we have ensured that the inks used in the printing process are also Vegan friendly for both fabric and mug printing. Our printing partners have researched their inks and confirmed that all of their inks are Vegan friendly, elaborating that they are neither tested on animals nor contain any animal by-products.

Moreover, the inks are toxin-free and eco-friendly, and products are shipped in plastic-free packaging.

We are actually a business run by Vegans ourselves, so are passionate about ensuring that everything we do aligns with our ethics. We are proud to represent the Vegan movement, and have created an (ever growing) host of designs that cover both fun and whimsical designs, as well as designs that can be worn or used for a bit of subtle activism.

How much does shipping cost?

We ship to the UK, totally free!

No minimum order?
Nope, every order, small or large, is free shipping guaranteed.

Do you offer shipping outside of the UK?

No, but we are working on it!

As a small, new business, passionate about ethical sourcing as well as customer satisfaction, we are taking the time to ensure that we meet the needs of our UK customer base before branching out.

We are researching suppliers and Print on Demand companies overseas that can offer competitive costs, ethical fabrics, and the low/no waste packaging that we endeavour to maintain.

When will I get my stuff?

Below are our general delivery estimates. Though it should be noted that all delivery estimates are based on quotes supplied by the relevant courier, so they can't be guaranteed.

Royal Mail 48 Tracked
5-10 working days total.*
*Processing and printing time: 3 to 5 working days. Royal Mail 48 Tracked delivery: 2 to 5 working days.

DPD Courier
4-6 working days total.*
*Processing and printing time: 3 to 5 working days. DPD Courier: 1 working day.

It is likely that there has been a delay in transit if your parcel is late. Both Royal Mail 48 Tracked and DPD Courier shipping methods are trackable, so please don’t hesitate to contact us at bouchradesign22@gmail.com if you need assistance tracking a parcel.

What do I do if my order is lost?

Whilst rare, parcels can go missing in the post. We cannot issue replacement orders until 10 working days after dispatch for the UK. This is because we cannot claim from Royal Mail until this time. 

If an order does not arrive, we always recommend that the customer checks at their local post office and confirms their postal address was correct before contacting us. Please also note that we must be notified within 60 calendar days of any orders that have not arrived. After this time we cannot replace any orders free of charge.

All delivery estimates are based on quotes supplied by the relevant courier, so they can't be guaranteed. If your parcel is not delivered within the estimated window then it's very likely there has been a delay in transit. 

Royal Mail
If your order is shipped with Royal Mail services we advise you wait 10 working days before contacting us. The Royal Mail will deem a parcel as lost if not delivered within these windows. Once deemed as lost we'll be able to work with you to resolve the problem. We need lost parcels to be reported within 60 days of dispatch to offer a replacement, after this time we cannot offer a replacement.

DPD Courier
All orders shipped with DPD are fully trackable and we recommend you contact DPD with your tracking number if there are any issues for the quickest resolution. Though if you'd like our help you can let us know using the details below.
